High Point Academy is kicking off our Grizzly Green Space & Activity Field Fundraiser! Our goal is to build a 60-thousand square-foot multi-use activity area on our campus. The project will provide outdoor learning space and a state-of-the-art athletic field. We’re partnering with families, businesses, and our community to bring this needed green space for students.
The PTO is organizing a calendar fundraiser. Packets and more info will go home with students on Tuesday, October 13. Friends and family can choose a number or date between 1-31 and then donate that amount. Each student who completes all 31 spaces will be eligible for the grand prize drawing; SIX, ONE DAY PASSES, TO DISNEY WORLD! Thank you in advance for your support!
Families can take a picture of the calendar and post it to social media, take it to work, or send texts or emails requesting that friends and family choose their favorite number/date and donate that amount. You can use the cash app of your choice to collect money and once completed turn in a check to HPA PTO or scan the QR code to pay with a credit card. Make sure you include the exact name as it appears on the Square payment on the order form so we can make sure your child gets the credit. If the QR code doesn’t work go to https://bit.ly/2FZhifI
At High Point Academy, our student body also depends on support from community members to achieve a high level of success. For more than six years, our school has become a growing member of the Spartanburg community. As a free public charter school, serving nearly 1,200 kindergarten through twelfth-grade students, we strive to challenge each student so they may achieve their highest potential academically, socially, and personally.
Through two phases, we seek to raise a total of $1.2 million to create usable outdoor green space to accommodate the needs of our students. This project will provide our students with nearly 60,000 square feet of green space for multiple outdoor learning areas and a state-of-the-art athletic field. The completion of this project would also allow High Point Academy to provide community outreach, host tournaments for surrounding organizations, programs, and accommodate school and community-related special events. Providing this green space will have a tremendous educational impact on more than a thousand students every year.
