Starting Tuesday, September 24 there will be a new traffic pattern on the Old Lowe Road side of campus only. We hope this change will relieve congestion and increase the effectiveness of the drop-off and dismissal process.
For anyone using this side of campus, cars will enter the school grounds from Old Lowe Road through the drive closest to Pottery Road. Families will then move through the top parking lot and into the drop-off and pick-up areas. All traffic will proceed around the side and back of the building, past the volleyball center, and will exit campus through the last drive back onto Old Lowe Road. Students will continue to be dropped off and picked up in the same areas.
In addition to the new traffic flow, any 3rd and 4th-grade students who have a middle or high school sibling(s) will now dismiss from the middle and high school dismissal area. Only those 3rd and 4th-graders with older siblings will change dismissal sides. This will help balance out both dismissal sides and should result in a more efficient and effective overall dismissal process. Teachers will be assigned to supervise 3rd and 4th-grade students to help safely get them to the proper area.
We have included a map and a video of the new pattern below to help adequately explain the changes. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
