The January Elementary Spotlight is Third Grade Teacher Christine Morales. This is her second year with High Point Academy Spartanburg and her third year teaching overall. Mrs. Morales likes to provide her students with a classroom style that works best for them. “My students are free to choose their seat throughout the day, and I offer a wide variety of options. I try to follow an inquiry approach when it comes to learning whenever possible,” Morales said. She says her favorite part of teaching is seeing students grow academically and personally. “I believe all children are capable of greatness, and it is my life’s mission to help them unlock that greatness. I believe children are our world’s greatest resource,” said Morales.
Outside of school, Ms. Morales enjoys spending time with her four-year-old son. She also likes going hiking, camping, and exploring new cities.
