Boys and Girls Wrestling Club

Date: Tuesday, September 18th, 2018

Time: 5:30 pm







Please have a debit or credit card on hand to get your wrestlers’ sports insurance card during the meeting (this is mandatory for all students in the wrestling club). SC USA Wrestling is $15, and SCYWA is $17 and will discuss the difference at the meeting.


Season Fee: $80.00 and includes a team t-shirt (Due: 10/1/18)

Encourage sign-up during the parent meeting and fee payment of $80.00

 Season Structure

Day and Time: Wednesday from 3:20 pm – 4:30 pm

Beginner Tot

Grades: 1st -2nd grade

Description: This is a developmental class and will allow for technique and gameplay while introducing students to the sport of wrestling. There will be rookie tournaments that they can attend at parents’ expense during the season but is not mandatory. A coach will be at all listed tournaments.

Day and Time:  Monday & Wednesday from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm


Grades: 3rd-6th

Description: This class is for wrestlers that are wanting to grow in the sport. This class will focus on technique and live wrestling as well as some wrestling games. Wrestlers in this class will have a chance to compete in both rookie tournaments (1st and 2nd-year wrestlers only) and regular tournaments at parents’ expense. A coach will be at all tournaments.  We are encouraging 3-5 tournaments.


Grades: 3rd – 6th grade and students that meet criteria

Description: This is a class for 5th and 6th graders or wrestlers that meet the criteria to be placed in this class. Wrestlers will work on more advanced skills and will work at a higher pace than the beginner tots and novelty classes. Wrestlers in this class will be competing in tournaments during the season at parents’ expense and a coach will be present to coach them.
