Healthy Smiles Dental Screenings

High Point Academy | Spartanburg, SCOn Friday, September 14 Healthy Smiles of Spartanburg will be on campus to provide free dental screenings for all of our students. This will be a non-invasive exam, using only and tongue depressor and flashlight. Any student who is identified with having potential problems are referred for dental care. If there is an urgent need for treatment, the program organizer will work with our school nurse to facilitate immediate access. Referrals are also made to local pediatric dentists. Healthy Smiles does offer free dental care for students who qualify. Those qualifications include a student who does not receive Medicaid Benefits, does not have Dental Insurance and is between 4 and 18-years-old. You may also opt out of the screening by returning this form. Please include your child’s name, a parent signature, and indicate you do not want your child to participate.
