Dear HPA Families,
We hope everyone is enjoying a relaxing summer and is excited about the beginning of school. We are excited to meet all of our new students and families and look forward to seeing everyone back on campus.
Don’t miss our Meet the Teacher and Open House on Thursday, August 16 from 8:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. Families are welcome to drop in throughout the day. We will also host a Parent Meeting at 6:00 P.M. in the Performing Arts Center. This is optional but highly recommended, especially for families new to HPA. While you are on campus be sure and join us for an HPA Board Member Meet & Greet drop-in from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. in the library. The first day of school is Monday, August 20. The school will open at 7:15 A.M. for student drop-off.
It is our mission to help every student feel welcome, connected and a part of the High Point Academy family. Our teachers are preparing and creating lessons and classroom activities to engage and challenge students. We strive to stimulate each student to grow in their academic abilities. We know to be a successful school, our students need support at school and at home. Through a partnership with parents, we are confident every student can be successful.
We encourage everyone to familiarize yourself with our school website, hpaspartanburg.com. We hope you will find it helpful and informative. Also, follow us on our social media pages, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. We will continue to use these platforms to send out updates and announcements about upcoming events. We will also share our student and staff success stories and achievements throughout the school year.
As we approach August, we want to remind everyone of a few important upcoming dates.
We are honored to be a part of your student’s educational experience. It is a privilege to a part of the HPA Family. Thank you for your support, and we look forward to a tremendous 2018-2019 school year.
